Next2Connect Agent Desktop - Overview and Login

Overview

Next2Connect Agent Desktop is a web-based workstation built on top of Amazon Connect. It natively supports inbound and outbound voice, video chat, collaboration, chat, social messaging, and email - all in a single interface.

Every tool and third-party application needed to manage a contact is accessible as a gadget inside the agent desktop. Which gadgets are available depends on the routing profile configured for your user in the Administration Panel.

Open the agent desktop at https://agent.next2connect.net and select the Amazon Connect Login tab.

The login process opens a popup window to authenticate against your Amazon Connect instance. Your AWS user will be bound to the Next2Connect session.

If your browser has third-party cookie management enabled, Amazon Connect requires you to explicitly grant access before completing the login.

note

Third-party cookies are required by Amazon Connect's embedded CCP (Contact Control Panel). If you are blocked at this step, refer to the AWS official documentation for browser-specific instructions.

Main Panel

After a successful login, the agent desktop displays the main panel.

The interface is divided into two areas:

  • Left side - Connect Drawer: Amazon Connect agent information, status bar, dial pad, and quick connects.
  • Right side - Gadget area: top bar with all gadgets enabled for your routing profile, event notifications, split-view toggle, and logout.

For a detailed breakdown of each component, see Interface Guide.
